How do you guarantee the correct pressure during cure? How do you make sure the bond has a consistent joint strength?
Each Click Bond fastener is supplied with a fixture that creates consistent positive pressure during cure. The elastomeric fixture supplied with the rivetless nutplate holds the nut element concentric with the baseplate hole and, when inserted into the structure, maintains concentricity of the baseplate and nut element to the installation hole. Each of our mounts, studs, and standoffs includes either an internal or external fixture. Both fixture types enable easy part centering and ensure consistent pressure to the bondline while the adhesive cures.
