This year’s Manufacturing Day events were the best yet!
After two years in which Click Bond’s Manufacturing Day events were held only virtually, 2022 ushered in the return to live
events. And by many accounts, this year’s Manufacturing Day events were the best yet!
Held on October 11 in Carson City and October 13 in Watertown, Manufacturing Day gives Click Bond an opportunity to connect directly with its local communities — demonstrating its products, showcasing the latest technology, and sharing some of the many exciting careers possible in the field. Students, community members, and Click Bonders’ own families are invited to attend and beinspired by the incredible work taking place here.
This year’s events took that idea to a whole new level! MFG Day engaged every department at Click Bond, offering them the opportunity to share the exciting work they do in fun, creative presentations. Attendees rotated around the room with passports inviting them to check out the presentations at each booth — 11 in Carson City and nine in Watertown — then vote for their favorites, all while enjoying food and drinks.
Together, both events combined welcomed 500 guests, and as they finished their booth rotations and getting their passports stamped, they got a chance to take home their choice of Click Bond swag and vote for their favorite booths. Congratulations to the Engineering team in Carson City and Production/Car Simulator team in Watertown for winning with the most votes for their booths!
Click Bonders and guests alike left the events utterly wowed by the creativity and talent on display and the value our products bring. There were many lightbulb moments in which Click Bonders realized, perhaps for the first time, how the work they do makes an impact on thousands of applications and programs. Some of the many comments shared about the events included:
Watertown’s General Manager of Plant Operations Laurie Shakley commented, “Throughout the day, last night, and again this morning, all I heard from employees was excitement, energy, ‘how might we’s,’ and ‘just imagines.’”
“The stories you were so capably able to tell of the innovative and revolutionary things you are making happen at Click Bond are ones you should be proud of,” said President/CEO Karl Hutter about all the Click Bonders who participated. “You should similarly hold a new confidence of your abilities to convey our collective story so powerfully!”
Thanks to the many Click Bonders who contributed your ideas, time, and enthusiasm to help make this event such a resounding success!
