On June 27, the Executive Networking Luncheon, hosted by Manufacture Nevada at the TMCC Applied Technology Center, brought together manufacturing leaders from across Northern Nevada for an afternoon of connection, collaboration, and innovation.

The luncheon provided a platform for industry leaders to network and discuss key topics affecting the manufacturing sector in the region. The event kicked off with introductions over a complimentary lunch, allowing attendees to engage with one another.

Experts gave presentations on the manufacturing ecosystem in Nevada, providing insights into the current state and future prospects of manufacturing in Nevada. There were discussions surrounding strategies for effective local supply chain integration, highlighting the benefits of local sourcing and collaboration for enhancing efficiency and sustainability.

Attendees also learned about various workforce development programs and training opportunities offered by TMCC and other local institutions. These initiatives are designed to equip the workforce with the skills needed for the latest advancements in manufacturing technologies.

Finally, the event featured talks on cutting-edge developments in automation and industrial technology, encouraging companies to adopt innovative solutions and best practices to stay competitive.

The luncheon concluded with a tour of the TMCC Advanced Manufacturing Labs, where those of us in attendance had the opportunity to see firsthand the state-of-the-art facilities and technologies available for training and development.

The event saw participation from a diverse array of local manufacturing companies, including Sierra Nevada Corporation, Ametherm, Haws, SK Food Group, Trex, Tesla, Panasonic, Hamilton Company, Dragonfly Energy, and others.
